On this beautiful Friday break out your sandals ladies. The online retailer TOBI has a ton of cute gladiator sandals and 50% off your first purchase!.. I know recently I got rid of all my worn out Old Navy sandals so it was time to invest in something new. These were some of my fav's on the website so be sure to go find yours! I purchased the top pair and they looked great with a fresh pedicure and turquoise nail polish .. so give yourself an excuse to freshen up your toes this weekend! See you all monday!

Dandelions and Fedora's

Nude Tank [Forever 21] Acid Washed Shorts [Forever 21]   Hat & Necklace [Forever 21]

I have been seeing Acid Washed every where lately and really love the different outfit  you can create with just one pair of shorts or jeans. When I was recently in California and went to Forever 21 they had some really awesome looks to pair these shorts with a crop top. I decided for a more daytime look with a fedora and necklace, but you could come up with very versatile looks with just these shorts alone.

Printed

Bauble Bar Spring Potpourri Bib Ray-Ban Sunglasses , Forever 21 Printed Wide-Leg Pant [Similar ], Black T-Strap Sandal [Similar]

With warm weather the ability for variation with some great different bottoms. Here I have one some Forever 21 printed, mid rise pants. The diamond pattern and light weight material, give a summery feel to a black and white combo. In order to lighten up the mood I paired a great teal, statement necklace from Bauble Bar! I wore this casual look for a little sushi date with my sister last weekend!

The Other Woman

After a girls night to the movies for a viewing of The Other Woman, my Woman Crush is Cameron Diaz. (and her stylist.) As each scene changed, so did my need for every bag, dress, watch, and even nail polish that Cameron was wearing. Her character Carly, was a very independent New York Attorney, who was a great mixture of sexy and sassy, but dressed with class.

Here are a few of my favorite looks that she rocked throughout the film!

She even pulled off pregnant impeccably!

A few other pieces that I would keep an eye out for while watching, would be:
#1. Gold Double Chain Necklace worn throughout the whole movie.
#2. Backless Tom Ford White Dress worn at a dinner scene (smokin!)
#3. Egyptian Printed Tee and Matching Skirt worn in the Bahamas.
#4. Matte Pink Nail Polish worn in the final beach scene.

The Other Woman was a great chick flick and I highly recommend it for a relaxing girls night out!

Summer Travels

Coral top [American Eagle] Shorts [Forever 21] Grey sandals [Roxy] headband [Forever 21] Sunglasses [Oscar de la Renta]
Today I flew home from my trip to San Diego and I didn't want to look like a total bum.. (Which I previously had on my way out) but still needed to be comfy.. I have been loving this beaded tribal headband from Forever 21 and have been wearing it also across the forehead. These ripped jean shorts are very casual but with the right outfit can certainly be dressed up too.. I figured since California is filled with beautiful people I would ditch the yoga pants, sweatshirt, and messy bun cause you just never know who you may run into!

Red, White and Blue

After a 2 week long hiatus due to finals and a little California adventure, JM Chic is back and ready for summer! Here, I am wearing a cotton, belted shirt dress from Forever 21, paired with high top Converse. This combo is perfect for running errands, or a day of shopping. A J.Crew jean jacket and my usual arm candy finish off the look!

All Eyes

Going Out Eye Look 5/1

Now that the summer is coming, I love to play with colored eyeliners. You can do this technique with TONS of different colors, including all shades of blue, green and purple. My go-to eye look for night time includes the products above.
I always start with the Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base for my eyeshadows to stick to. (No one likes a creasing lid!)
For shadows I have been using up my Original Urban Decay Naked Palette . For my lid I use Sidecar (4th from left), I blend Darkhorse (8th from the left) into my crease, then blend out the edges using Buck (5th from the left). I smudge Creep (2nd from the right) into the outer V, along with a light dusting of Virgin (1st on the left) on my brow bone and inner corner. This combination  gives the perfect amount of smoke and sparkle!
I then use M.A.C's Fluidline in Black Track to line my upper eyelash line. Finally, for an added pop I use Urban Decays 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Electric along my lower lash line, and water line. A little curl of the lashes and CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara on both top and bottom finishes off the look!
