St. Tropez

Hopefully sooner rather than later Mother Nature will give us a break and bring in the warm weather. Until then, New England is still snow covered with little sun in sight. Spring break is upon us here at UMass, and while I am lucky enough to be jetting off to West Palm Beach at the end of the weekend, not all students are as fortunate. What's a girl to do when she is casper pale and all of her friends will be coming back to school bronzed and beautiful?
St. Tropez.
Not the exotic island, but the wonderful self tanner. Some of you may automatically think, I'm not trying to be an oompa loompa. I can promise that is not the case with this product. St Tropez tanning mousse is the best self tanner I have used to date. One of the main reasons why it gives such a dark, rich, truly tan color is because of the products formula. Most self tanners have a warm, either orange or yellow undertone to them. Thus resulting in an "orange" finish. St Tropez has a very deep, cool green undertone to it. Resulting in a bronzed application. (Which is what we want, right?)
St Tropez has an entire line of self tanners available at Sephora, and at StTropezTan.com. I personally have only ever used the tanning mousse. I purchase it at Sephora, and it comes in either a 4 or 8 ounce pump bottle.
The number one key to using this product and getting a seamless, even tan is St Tropez's tanning mitt. Instead of applying the mousse with the palm of your hand, you slip on the mitt, pump the product onto the mitt and buff away. The mitt gives an almost airbrushed effect.
Next time you stop into your local Sephora, venture to the back of the store and take a look at the St Tropez line, I promise it will not disappoint!
xoxo Michelle
